Portable Charger WITH multiple cables
We LOVE taking pictures and videos capturing our destination...but that drains a phone battery QUICKLY! We never want to be caught without our phone when we need it while traveling, especially since it must be used for calling ubers, maps, etc in addition to taking pictures & video. That's why we NEVER travel without an external, portable power bank. Our favorite has the ability to charge multiple different types of devices. Check it out here on Amazon.
The Personal Bag (VACUUM compress!)
We are OBSESSED with The Personal Bag. The vacuum-sealed compartment compresses your clothes so you can travel with more! It counts not as a carry-on but as a PERSONAL item on almost every airline! The vacuum IS included and there is still a compartment for your laptop and more. The little bag is extremely well made and packs so much punch! Save money on luggage fees with this sleek beauty. It also makes the perfect gift for travel enthusiasts. Use code, "Wonderland" at checkout for $25!
Small Portable Sound Machine
This little nugget is a favorite of both Joanna & Mary Ellen's! Maybe we got hooked when our kids were little, who knows, we just know it's a travel necessity, because no one enjoys a trip when they can't get good sleep! We never like to travel without this tiny powerhouse sound machine from Amazon.

Be prepared when you travel so you don't end up shelling out extra money for medication in a pinch when you could have come with it from home.

It's never fun planning an incredible trip just to arrive tired and miserable from Jetlag. FlyKitt was developed to solve that problem and make sure you land refreshed and ready to start your day! They researched what was best for Navy Seals and military experts who had no room to land foggy when conducting important missions. So you can trust that FlyKitt is the REAL DEAL! Joanna used FlyKitt on her recent trip to Europe and gave it two thumbs up!
Vacuum Bags WITH Pump
Once you go vacuum, you never go back! When packing for a family and needing to save both money and space due to airline baggage fees, reusable vacuum bags CHANGE THE GAME! These things allow you so much more freedom to travel with less suitcases without sacrificing your wardrobe selection. Check them out on Amazon.

This magical power block will make sure you have the type of power adapter you need! Don't be caught in another country without a way to charge your phone or devices. Grab it here on Amazon.
Tracking Cards (work with Apple Find My)
We've become those people who put an air tag or tracking device in EVERYTHING when traveling. These cards are great because they can easily fit in a wallet, passport holder, etc. without being a bulky little circle. You could even put them in your kids' pockets when traveling in a busy city or crowded place. These are great for both travel and everyday life! So helpful for peace of mind, knowing you can find important things when you need them. Although these aren't Apple brand, they DO work with the Find My app on iphones! Grab them here on Amazon.
Airtag Wristbands for Kids
Did we ever tell you about the time Mary Ellen lost her kids in Belgium?! They got separated when train doors closed too quickly. In a situation like that, having a tracker on your kids can be VERY helpful. They offer peace of mind when traveling with your little ones in busy cities and foreign countries. These airtag wristbands found on Amazon are a perfect way to make sure you can always keep track of your kiddos. If you need airtags, you can grab those here to go with them.
Sleek Cord Organizer
In this day and age we travel with WAY too many cords and chargers...but that's just reality! An affordable little cord organizer can help you avoid a tangled mess in your luggage. It's a beautiful thing when everything has it's place! This on is available on Amazon for a great price.
LifeStraw Filtering Waterbottle
If you're nervous about the availablilty of safe drinking water during your travels, this LifeStraw filtering water bottle could be a great option. Mary Ellen has used this water bottle when traveling in South Africa. Give yourself peace of mind that bacteria, parasites and more are removed from your water. Find this teal and many other colors on Amazon.
Small, but Mighty, Portable Umbrella
No one wants it to rain on their parade, but bad weather happens sometimes when traveling. Don't get caught panicing in the rain without an umbrella, come prepared to keep on having fun, despite a sudden downpour. This umbrella found on Amazon actually advertises a lifetime warranty!
Between jetlag, being out of your normal routine, being in an unfamiliar place with different foods, etc., there are so many good reasons to make sure you pack some on-the-go electrolytes. Mary Ellen and her entire family love the Liquid IV Concord Grape flavor. They called it a magical headache zapper that can save the day when out exploring the world! Pack it with all of your travel medications and throw a few in your day pack before you start your daily adventures. Find it here on Amazon.

Toddler Travel Cot
Our family has loved using this Regalo travel cot from Amazon for our toddler. We've taken it to the beach, hotels and grandma's house! It folds up just like a tailgating chair and is the perfect size for 2-4 year olds. We even managed to fit it in a very large carry-on once (a backpack style duffle bag). It's has definitely saved our family of 5 when staying in hotel rooms with two queen beds. Plus Regalo is a family-owned company out of Minnesota. Love supporting great brands! Highly recommend!
Blackout Curtains with Suction Cups
If you've traveled with a baby or toddler, you know how crucial it can be to have a way to block out sunlight. Whether trying to get them to sleep late, for nap time or going to bed when it's still daylight in the summer, portable blackout shades can be a lifesaver during travel. These from Amazon basics have worked well for my family (just make sure the window is clean-ish for best suction). I can't count the number of times I've tried to throw blankets or towels over windows to make a room darker for my kids to sleep. These come in handy when staying at airbnbs or places without hotel room blackout curtains.
Why are these SO GOOD?! If you are a Nerds Gummy Cluster person (and who isn't, because they are delicious), these are a healthier alternative you can feel good about giving your kiddos. They boast 60% less sugar, no artificial dyes, prebiotic fiber and are seriously yummy. Take it from me, someone with a true sweet tooth, Rotten Gummy Cruncheez are an incredible alternative and perfect travel snack! They come in sour, shown here, and a regular variety. Try them all!
Travel Snacks With Less Sugar
Motion Sickness Medications
No matter whether our travels include boats, rollercoasters or bus rides, preventing motion sickness is KEY to having a good time. Nobody enjoys constant nausea, so Bonine is a go-to item to pack in our medicine bag.
Anti-Theft Crossbody Bag
A great day pack is important for any trip, and anti-theft features are essential. We love this crossbody due to the zippers having clips to make them less accessible for pick pockets. It comes in several beautiful colors, so pick your favorite!
We love screen-free ways for kids to keep busy when traveling. This Gratitude for Kids activity book gives them puzzles, games, coloring and more all while promoting kindness and gratitude (something we need to remind our kids about wayyyy too much when traveling, ha). Whether long car rides, plane trips or riding on trains, this book found on Amazon is perfect to throw in your backpack.

A Great Action Camera
The Insta 360 3x action camera captures 360 degrees of adventure. Mary Ellen used this camera in Switzerland to take incredible footage of e-biking, hiking and mountain views. If you love a new toy and incredible way to document your journeys, the Insta360 could be a great fit! We highly recommend you get the Invisible Selfie stick as well (sold together as a kit)! Learn more here on Amazon.
Medicine Organizer With Labels
We never travel (especially internationally) without a full-on pharmacy in our bag. We love that this kit includes labels so there is no dangerous guessing game. Go into your travels prepared for any unfortunate situation that may arise.
What we love about this blanket is that it goes over your head similar to a poncho so your shoulders are covered and you don't have to worry about it slipping off while you're sleeping. Too often we find ourselves holding a blanket on us while trying to catch bits of sleep on an overnight flight...no longer! This one on Amazon stays on and keeps your hands free!
